Went to Carrefour this afternoon. Bought some beer to stock in my fridge cause the weather is getting hotter.
When paying, the cashier asked me "Are you more than 18 years old?"
I was like ^^"...Do i really look that young? Dunno i should be proud of it or the opposite...

Yea I have to bring my passport everytime I go buy whisky as well, it's damn annoying in the UK even though the legal age to drink is 18 purchasing needs to be 21. Haiz...

The most logic conclusions that i can make are:
1)the cashier didn't know much about asians, she didn't know that normally we don't have beard, and so when she saw me she thought i was less than 18.
2)I really look young LOL
haha...then u should try to keep beard and go to the casier again.If she still asks for your age,it means that you really look young.lol

i thought the "rules" is if you look under 21, you have to show your ID.. but over 18 can buy liao..
anyway I no need ID also can buy easily at my place. the middle eastern and indians shop here very machi with me :)
